Hello! I'm Sara, the owner of Knot Ending.  I have been working from home crocheting custom items since 1998.  The name Knot Ending comes from the fact that I tie knots when joining colors or when ending a product.  Knotting the ends is not the traditional way of weaving in ends but knotting the ends keeps the product from having loose yarn hanging out that can become unraveled, which is very important when you are crocheting for kids of any age.

The first product I created was Paci Blankets which was invented in 2006.  Paci Blankets got very popular when my parents took my 2 daughters on a summer road trip in the summer of 2006. My mom had only one request… make sure that my youngest daughter who was 2 ½ at the time had a way to keep her pacifiers safe and not loose them while in their RV. I have been a fiber artist since I was a teenager so I went about making Abigail’s first Paci Blanket. Abigail is always very proud of her Paci Blanket™. Anytime we go out she will walk up to anyone and say see my Paci Blanket™ my mommy made it. 

In 2007 we expanded beyond Paci Blankets as my girls continue to grow. My oldest daughter Rebekah is now nine and Abigail is now 4 and quickly outgrowing her Paci Blanket.  I have now created crocheted dress up clothes that are WASHABLE! This is great for getting the items clean because most dress up clothes are scratchy, itchy and not washable.  I have created the Pixie Purse, Flower Cup Hat, and Curly Q Scarf.  I also added Sunshine Blankets which are security blankets for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.

All of my products are made in the USA with love and are 100% WASHABLE!
